July 2026

New

• Personal messages. A mail icon now sits next to the notification bell. Send messages to members of your workspace, preview your latest mail in a popover, and manage everything on the new Account → Messages page with Inbox and Sent views. The badge counts only unread inbox messages, and deleting a message removes only your copy — the other side keeps theirs.

Improved

• One consistent look, everywhere. Buttons, menus, dialogs, forms, tabs, chips, and toast messages across the whole app now share a single refreshed design family — same shapes, same spacing, same behaviour. Expanding and collapsing panels animates smoothly instead of snapping, and dialogs open full-screen on phones.
• Leaner navigation. The top bar is slimmer: the Build and API menus list their pages directly as dropdown entries, Recovery moved into the Account menu, and the logo always takes you back to the Welcome page. On medium-sized screens the sidebar starts as a compact icon rail — expand it and your choice sticks.
• Import wizard with a live checklist (data plans): a rail on the right tracks your file, configuration, import code, and tags as you go. When Next is locked it tells you exactly what's missing, and clicking a checklist row jumps straight to the field.
• Redesigned welcome page for new visitors: four clear starting paths and live product demos right on the page.
• Your layout choices are remembered. Collapsing the sidebar or the board intro now persists — across devices when you're signed in, in your browser as a guest.
• Dates, times, and numbers follow your app language everywhere — no more browser-language surprises.
• Hundreds of translation gaps filled across German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Turkish.

Fixed

• The app no longer freezes or hangs when you keep several Mockomat tabs open.
• Switching projects from the sidebar while on a list page keeps you on that page instead of jumping you to the modelling board.
• Tag input fields: typed tags appear immediately as chips, and the field uses its full width.
• Admin project list: closing the detail panel no longer instantly re-selects the row.

• Two-step data-source picker. When you map a column to mock data you now pick the source table first, then the column — so same-named columns like a city name and a country name are never ambiguous again.
• Relation suggestions from the data catalog. When you draw a relation that matches how the underlying data is actually connected, the relation editor suggests adopting it — one confirmation and your related records stay consistent, and the row count of the child table follows the parent automatically (no manual volume setup needed there).
• Import Jobs page (enterprise): your own import history now lives in the Data area, and admins can filter jobs by tenant.
• Data file downloads (enterprise): request a source file from its detail page and get a notification with the download link the moment it's ready.
• Raw-data peek (enterprise): a magnifier on data-board cards and in the records detail shows sample rows straight from the source.

Improved

• Cleaner tables from nested sources (enterprise): sources with nested lists and lookup structures now become a small set of linked child tables instead of hundreds of sparse columns — boards and previews stay readable.
• Signup rebuilt. Three clear steps with your chosen plan always visible on the left; terms and privacy open as an overlay without losing your progress; and registering always ends on a clear final step telling you what happens next.
• Board PDF export now fits your whole diagram on a single page.
• Progress bars finish reliably — very fast imports and dry runs no longer leave the bar stuck, and the data-source retrieve button recovers after an error.

Fixed

• The import wizard now properly requires at least one tag, and typed tags show up immediately.
• The explorer's decomposed view matches the board model, and drilling into child rows works again.
• Choosing a weak password during signup shows a proper password hint instead of a wrong "service unavailable" message.
• The privacy link on the contact form opens an overlay instead of navigating away and losing your half-filled form.
• Newly created projects could hit a permission error when you managed or deleted them right away — fixed.
